Student Plants Tree

Live, learn and work in one of the most beautiful and ecologically rich places on Earth—the Nandamojo Watershed in Costa Rica.

Nestled along the Pacific Ocean, our valley has been significantly degraded in recent decades due to poor land management practices.

Restoring Our Watershed (ROW) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to renewing this amazing ecosystem, all the way from its headwaters to the beach at Playa Junquillal. We are happy to help connect you with El Centro Verde, one of our partner organizations, to arrange a volunteer stay at their facility.

Please visit www.elcentroverde.org to learn more.

Volunteer experiences are available for any amount of time, though internships applications will only be accepted for stays of one month or more.

Anyone with gardening, landscaping, farming or permaculture experience is encouraged to apply, though previous experience is not necessary to participate.

Contact Tom Peifer, El Centro Verde’s director, at tompeiferecv@gmail.com for more information.
