Live, learn and work in one of the most beautiful and ecologically rich places on Earth—the Nandamojo Watershed in Costa Rica. Nestled along the Pacific Ocean, our valley has been significantly degraded in recent decades due to poor land management practices.

Restoring Our Watershed (ROW) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to renewing this amazing ecosystem, all the way from its headwaters to the beach at Playa Junquillal. In partnership with El Centro Verde, a local Permaculture site, we invite volunteers and interns to Costa Rica to help us accomplish our mission—not to make money. The program costs less than $20 per day, and there is absolutely no application fee. Moreover, any program costs associated with your volunteer stay are tax-deductible in the U.S. Housing is included in all packages, though participants are asked to cook for themselves in kitchen facilities provided by El Centro Verde.

Volunteer experiences are available for any amount of time, though internships applications will only be accepted for stays of one month or more.

Anyone with gardening, landscaping, farming or permaculture experience is encouraged to apply, though previous experience is not necessary to participate.

Contact us with any questions.
